shirt cost 80$

Went to Dillard's with my wife and I saw some of the dumbest looking shirts made out of next to nothing for well over $300. You have to be a moron to buy that shite.

What blows my mind is that the 80$ shirt needs a 130$ cover shirt to wear. It don't even make sense. I buy t shirts from Walgreens for 3$

Women are being taken advantage of and it isnt even funny. Went to the mall with my wife and a shirt cost 80$... A SHIRT

Nordstrom wanted 1200 for a DRESS

My girlfriend is cheap when it comes to cloths in general, she doesn't spend a whole lot on anything in particular because she admits she is only going to where it a hand full of times then donate it away. Whereas I will spend 200 on a sweater because I will have it 10 years from now.

Ask your GF how she avoids being taken advantage of. Surely it's not as simple as "buy cheaper clothes." Can't be.

It’s worth noting that by the specialized nomenclature of the dismal science, even eating at McDonald’s is a luxury — that is, we do it more as our incomes rise — while smoking and lottery-ticket buying are categorized as necessities.

Who eats at McDonald's more as their income rises? Backwards.

Most of my toys (bikes, trikes, jet skis, and so on) cost more than my daily driver.

I'm okay with that.

She buys a lot of her tops at Target and only spends on stuff that will last multiple seasons. She doesn't buy stuff from more expensive places. She is more prudent than i am when it comes to spending on stuff like that.

That's crazy, man. OP said women are being taken advantage of because they won't spend less on clothing, even though there are cheaper options. Conflicting information.

Poor people often have more expensive clothes, electronics, and "toys" than upper middle class people in my experience
