Which once great American cities have you noticed making a comeback?

Detroit, Pittsburgh, Birmingham and Cleveland are a few that come to mind. I’ve heard these places are really coming back up.

I’m going to get downvoted to oblivion but honestly NOLA has improved a decent bit since COVID.

That was absolutely rock bottom as far as I’m concerned.

We have middle-aged lesbian couples to thank for this great renaissance you're speaking of.

Idiots try to give me shite for living where I do, but take all the issues and aggravations of living in present day large American cities and I don’t have a single one of those problems.

Kind of? I mean it’s definitely better than 2009 Detroit.

I visited Detroit for the first time a year ago and was surprised how big an area it is. It had more people than Seattle and Denver.

Detroit contracted so much, and continue to do so. They are literally half the size they were 40 years ago. Their median income is half of that of the rest of the US. Not seeing them making a comeback any time soon.
