LSU should tear down Middleton and Lockett, and build two new libraries. They should have a graduate student library and an undergraduate library. This will never happen though.

Middleton isn't listed.

Why?

Because it isn't as nice at the others on the list, silly.

Just astounding what tens of billions in endowments can accomplish.
That, and a shift in priorities from athletics to academics.

It's crazy to see small colleges do away with libraries as everything goes online and the need for a library for books becomes unnecessary. UTC's is just pretty much study space. Very little books left at all.

I've seen rundown charity hospitals that look better than Middleton.

Georgetown's current library is a disgusting brutalist eyesore, but the old one is awesome

Oh yeah, well I bet more people have gotten laid or had a nice relaxing jerkoff on the 4th floor of Middleton than all of those other libraries combined.

UGA at #6!

Had to do a project relating to that library being opened.

Met a dude who had a masters in library technology :smoking:

Said the Bodelin Library (university of Oxford in England) was copying some of the tech that UGA was implementing.

Also, that library houses the confederate constitution

So is that old dumpy bar on Chimes Street by that name. Sadly, it never looked quite like that one.

Amazing College Libraries

I love libraries. One of my favorite tourist spots is the public library when I go places.

I have no idea. I haven't returned to BR since I graduated. I don't think what I'm suggesting will happen.
