Alone TV Series - Anybody watching this?

Basically, they put people out in the woods to see how long they can survive with minimal supplies. The person who lasts the longest gets $500k. Last year's winner lasted 57 days. I'm watching the season finalie right now.
I'm thinking Kendell Beckwith should enter this if the NFL doesn't work out. He's an elite athlete, and he's a country boy. Most of these men doing this are pretty old. 500k is decent money.

Uncle Ted was way ahead of his time, he used to do this in AK annually, with no media coverage, and always came back.

he used to go to AK, get dropped off by chopper/float plane into the middle of nowhere, he would take a knife, some salt, fishing line, a compass, stuff like that, to live off of his ability to survive, would always say that if he wasn't back at the lz at the designated pickup time, it just didn't go well, a few weeks at a time

I do. They break mentally. Most do well physically.
