That guy did a joe roagn podcast and I watched some of his youtube clips.... my palms sweat while I'm watching some of the stuff bc it makes me so nervous. He's on like rock faces with no ropes where the drops are like 1000' plus

He's big part of the documentary Valley Uprising on Netflix.

His mentor/guy he replaces as top dog, Dean Potter, died earlier this year after coming off a cliff face, opening his chute, and crashing into a tree.

I went to Yosemite 2 years ago and rented a house from a a guy named Frans that turned out to be a climbing partner of Alex H. They held, on many occasions, the speed climbing record on El Capitan having figured out to do it mere hours.

I could barely hike the path to the Vernal Falls in half a day !!
