Albert Woodfox, the last remaining jailed member of the Angola 3, pleaded no contest to manslaughter in the 1972 killing of a prison guard, soon ending a long incarceration that became an international cause because of his decades spent in solitary confinement.

Appearing in a St. Francisville courtroom, Woodfox entered his no contest plea to the killing of Brent Miller, as well an aggravated burglary count. He received a 42-year sentence for the crimes, but has already served 45 years.

He is expected to be released within the hour from the West Feliciana Parish jail, where he has most recently been held

This is a totally made up problem. Legalize it and the dangerous drug dealers turn into corner stores.

Of course that would kill the prison industry/LEO's golden goose.
