Alabama Couple face capital murder charges over death of 3 yr old girl

I've been following this story since it first broke. It's one of the most gut wrenching stories I've ever heard and it breaks my heart for what this innocent little girl was put through. I'll leave the details out for those who don't want to know. Just be warned the story will probably make you break down and cry for her.

How anyone can harm a child is absolutely beyond me. I feel like shite when I accidentally bump into my child coming around a corner. Stories like these absolutely destroy my faith in humanity.

I'm not going to lie, yesterday afternoon on the ride home they were talking on the radio about her out there on the mattress and it just crushed me. This story has bothered me since it broke last week but that just kicked me right in the gut to hear the details of her last night.
Then early this morning my own daughter came and got in bed with me and my wife because she was scared. I lay there awake until it was time to get up thinking of that little 3 yr old girl and how scared she had to have been. Damn.

Not only am I pro-death penalty, but this case makes we wish they'd bring back some of the more medieval forms of execution. No amount of pain and suffering is too much for these two animals.
