I would classify this lawsuit as an act of terrorism.

Exactly what damages did they suffer? He went to the White House and then they decided to leave the country where some foundation is paying for his schooling.
Doesn't seem like they were forced to leave or that he was banned from school. I thought they didn't like the attention (which isn't the city or school districts fault) and they left.

There's no way they win this. The school won't even settle this to get it out of the way. The district should immediately counter sue.
