No one should bury a child, so assuming that’s not the case. Wife or Husband, especially if they’ve been married a really long time.

My chickens and my cats.
My family doesn’t like me. (Except for my MawMaw and PawPaw and my moms sisters All dead. I miss them so much.). Never have since I was a child.
Patents and family always told me they loved me because I was theirs , but they didn’t like me one bit. My wife didn’t like me. My kids don’t like me. My grandkids don’t know me. Few friends. C’est la vie.
The few friends I have, I can count on them. Armymann50 and Mrs Armymann are two of them

Ha! I agree with the excess protestation. Some other woman will be on him before I am cold. But if he is making secret deposits, he also has a secret job—that paycheck comes right through me.

It fades fast. Spouses, children and siblings. After that no one cares after a few weeks. Sad.

This is a sad thread but maybe a lot of reflection going on at the same time. Maybe some thoughts about reaching out to that person or people we have have avoided, been alienated or grew apart from...Mother's Day weekend, who would you like to hear from? Who needs to hear from you?
