Anyone here use ADT security for home alarm? And if so, what is your opinion of them?

I have one, I don't need it, but it works great. I can arm and disarm from my phone anywhere, which is nice.

I use them. Good customer service and the cost of monitoring isn't really outrageous (about $45 per month). I have a three story home with 5 doors and 16 windows on the lower and main levels, so install was a fortune (about $1700, but I also have four cameras, two motion detectors, and an auto-light). It's all wireless and I can control most everything using the pulse app.

I'll be the last person to tell you that $1700 isn't a lot of money, but you think that's a fortune to run the cabling and configure alarm systems for that size house? What the frick do you think these people work for? That sounds like nothing. I paid $500 in labor to have someone replace the front struts on my car.

My house is only about 3100 sqft (certainly not small, but not huge). And aside from power, ADT's TS module and its components are wireless. They connect through your own Wi-fi (with their on LTE network for backup). But most folks tell me I got a good deal considering all the hardware.
