My favorite root beer is Barq's from a glass bottle, but Abita is a close second.
BTW- mix with a little vodka and it's downright delightful.

I am not a regular root beer drinker but when I do I always go with Abita.

Don't get me wrong, I like Abita, but if you take a swig of some other root beer, say Barq's for example, and then you take if swig of Abita, you can definitely taste a wintergreen/menthol flavor which kinda reminds me of cough medicine. The best root beer IMO is at Frostop downtown.
