Driving on multiple highways in and out of state, I always see abandoned cars. Is there a reason for this. The cars have no outward damage and they have no "sale" sign.

Maybe they are broken down..?

Police put stickers on the back window and then they are towed away

Too drunk to drive. Parked and walked home.

Most I see aren't very nice. I'm guessing it's people that pay like 2k for them, and when they break down they just leave them and buy another one since it'd cost almost what they paid to get it fixed.

Hold on, let me ask my chauffeur and mechanic. I'll get back to you.

Thanks. Lack of insurance and drunk driving would make sense.

Those are areas that haven't had their crime reduced yet. When that car gets moved, all will be better.

Why would someone put their car sale on the side of the interstate?

Legally they have to have it towed at the scene, they cannot make them get out and just leave car there. The police department would be stuck with anything that happened to the car and/or if anyone happened to hit it and died it would be the Police Departments fault.

Troopers will put a 72 hour sticker on the back and if its not moved within that time frame it will be towed at owners cost.
