A small percentage of our population, on both sides are tearing the US apart.

How many people do you truly know are "racists"?
And by that, I mean the definition of racist where they hate all people of a certain race.
I'm white and I really don't know one person who hates all blacks. They may hate the "ni**ers", but they also have many blacks they work with or are friends with that they truly care for. I guess I could count myself amongst them if I'm being honest.
I can't speak for blacks, but I hope the same is true in their communities. I imagine they hate the trashy arse whites who hate blacks, but know many good white people and don't judge all whites by the few bad ones.
It's a damn shame what's happening to our country, and we need to come together to find a solution.

I thought this just after Dallas. To be fair, there are rouge cops and there are mass shooters. In this day if instant mass media and cell phone cameras the fringe get the attention.

I think most reasonable thinking people realize the actions of a few doesn't represent everyone that person is affiliated with.
There are people of all races who have different views on this. Look at the protesters last week, there were a lot of white people protesting for BLM. You listen to what Kevin Gates has to say about this.. He is a black dude saying "frick BLM", but are so quick to not rationalize things and paint everything with a broad brush.

Iam black and think the BLM movement is a sham created by some non blacks in high places to disrupt and divide society.

Sorry man but get your fricking head out of the sand. Just about everyone has a little bit of racism. Some don't act on it or talk about it in public because we're supposed to be past it. It's there, eeeeverywhere. I've noticed even the most strait laced, educated black ppl are separating themselves from white coworkers. I've heard the N word come out of white men's mouths that I never thought I'd hear. Blacks can't seem to organize and live in peace. I fear that Whitey will soon have enough of this shite. It's just getting started.

I worked with a few black guys in 2008 when Barry was running for his first term. We occasionally talked politics (mostly they did), and they found out I wasn't voting for their candidate. Immediately I was labeled a racist. Had nothing to do with the fact that I always vote conservative and he was a flaming liberal. Automatically it was a white/black issue.
