The problem is most of these schools have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to fighting. Doesn't matter if your defending yourself your kid is getting suspended. Zachary high had a kid beat the shite out of another kid last year and just because the other kid fought back he got 1 day suspension. Its pretty fricked up.

I am all for teaching my son to stand up for himself and not be a pussy but I also don't want him getting suspended for some shite some other trashy a-hole starts either.

I would call the police and get them involved. I would also demand expulsions for the other shitheads.

Nah, this is the OT. 7 year olds dragging others behind the shed to beat the ever living shite out of them while being outnumbered is a part of everyday life. Kid needs to learn MMA or get his concealed carry permit to not let this happen again

You find out who those kids are, march right into that school, and blast the biggest one right in the face. I mean, you're going for a broken nose here. Hit that little bastard so hard that his buddies feel it. You get that first one crying and the others will fall in line.

7 year olds are pussies.

I would put this to the kids parents

If Your son touches my kid again, your kids will witness me beating both the mother and father

I don't recall it being bad when I was in 2nd grade.

First time I was ever punched in the face was 3rd grade. During lunch a kid asked me where the worst place to get punched would be. Of course I said balls and face. In line leaving the lunch room he kneed me in the balls and punched me in the face. Guess that's about the time I learned you just cant trust some folks

no it won't...

You know how many damn times some helicopter parent comes in hoopin n hollerin about lawyers? shite... every damn day

School is tough and you cannot rely on teachers/admins catching everything. It takes complete effort/communication by all 3 involved parties...the kid, the school, and the parent

Ah yeah, I forgot about the zero tolerance policy. That wasn't a thing until after I graduated high school. I always had like 10 strikes and you're out

My mother put me in boxing lessons in grade school after I got beat up. I hated it at first. Then after I got to compete in a few matches I enjoyed it and liked the challenge to studying your opponents moves.

My coach was a crusty old marine and an Irishman. Imagine a short crusty old man who was not politically correct who would bust your tail. He always taught us to walk away unless we have to fight our way out. Then he taught us how not to break our hands while street fighting if needed.

His goal was to alway keep it in the gym and ring unless it is your last resort.

You have put the school on notice that their is a problem. This is a 7 year old not a 15 year old mind you. The teachers can't monitor the kid 24/7 but they can keep an eye on him and take action against those kids when he/she sees that bullying is going on. If they don't then you can sue the shite out of the teachers, school, and principal for allowing this to take place.

Jesus Christ people like you blow my mind.

Kids will be kids. The playground is where they learn to socialize and they learn how life works. Learn to stand up to bullies or stay in sight of teachers.

A kid got beat up. It sucks but it doesn't warrant all out action by the school. shite happens.

And before any of you say "what if it was your kid", I was that kid, my dad taught me to handle it like a man, I did, and I'm a better person for it. If my dad had gone and cried to the school, the bully gets expelled, I never learn to confront or deal with problems, i grow up an entitled shite living in a safe space bubble.

Learn to stay with a pack of friends. This wouldn't happen if you had a pack of friends.

Also, the 7 year old bully needs to learn not to be a bully. That doesn't come from expulsion. That just ruins the poor kids life before he has a shot.

My oldest had 3 stitches in back his head because another child thought it would be cool to throw a rock at him. I was at work so my wife went to the school and asked the principal how was the other child was going to be disciplined. The principal told her nothing will happen because if she reports it the child may get taken away from his mother. Once the ball starts rolling on a zero tolerance issue it can get out if hand. So, good luck with that.

Holy shite. Is this real life? Is this the shite I can expect when my son goes to school in the Nola area? If it is I am moving my "pussy" self back to BR. I mean this is Compton levels of trash

We are talking about 7 year olds, you know kids still watching ninja turtles and eating damn poptarts, ganging up on another kid to try and beat the shite out of him behind a shed. Felcianafans story is kids being kids, this story is trashy as shite kids who are future criminals potentially injuring a kid severely

what I have also found is that some of the victims don't really know what "bullying" means. Some kids think that if they were the butt of one joke then they were "bullied"... They then go to the parent who then goes to the school raising hell about "teachers need to do their jobs and protect my baby"....

I love how teachers are required to earn their degrees not only in education but they now are expected to get some kind of certification in VIP protection by the Secret Service as well

How about we raise kids to not be assholes to each other and to also protect themselves when assholes approach them?

So the principal was reaching and your wife bought it?

A parent would loose their kid for them throwing a rock ?

You need to file a police report!

The principal will try to keep this quit.

Those 3-4 kids will do this again as a group or individually. Unless it is documented on a police report that they have done this before then they will get off next time because it will be their first official offense.

That means at least 2 other kids will get beat up before corrective action is taken.

Do NOT let the police refer you back to the school!
Insist they take a full report and that you get a copy of it! That way if their report gets "lost" or "misfiled" you can supply a copy to the parents of the next victim.

P.S. This is how they do it in Atlanta:
Teen jumped, beaten leaving HS football game
quote:

“Both eye sockets were fractured. You could see the blood coming out of his eyes. Also, he had a broken nose and a gash on his forehead,”

the others jumped in and started punching, kicking, and stomping on the boy's head.
