Agreed. As important and necessary as it is to have firearms for home defense, it's kind of bizarre to see people celebrating body counts. It's still human life, and it's a sad situation all around, with both the mother and the homeowner having to live with the outcome.

When I was a kid back in the late 70s and early 80s Center Point was "the" place to live. It was then what Trussville is today. My wife grew up there.
Now, well now it is one of the worst ghettos in the nation. And I hate to tell the folks in Trussville this, but they're next in line. Clay and Pinson are already going south and Trussville is getting bad as well.

What's funny is Trussville was a backwoods place years ago. It was considered the "sticks" by Birmingham folks. But for the past 20 years they've been packing into it as tight as they can.
But like I said, they're wasting their time and money. The crime and gangs are only 5 minutes away. The pinnacle, bowling ally, and movie theaters are eat up with car break-ins and even car-jackings now.

Didn't realize Trussville has that kind of crime these days. Seems like people left East Lake for Center Point years ago only to leave Center Point for Trussville. Whats next?
