50 people already shot in Chicago this weekend.

50 shot, 3 killed. That seems like a really low (good though) percentage. I wonder what the kill percentage is on stabbings, poisonings, strangulations there this weekend. Maybe guns aren't as dangerous as people think.

I’m totally white-flighting out of Shreveport as soon as my youngest graduates from Tech. Sucks, because I’ll have to start teaching all over again. But alajones2 and I are kind of done with Shreveport.

Percentage low because of sideways gun firing pose. In most cases, increased accuracy would be a net benefit to society

I'm in Chicago now. Staying in the northern suburbs. Very clean, roads in great shape, feel safe, have seen very few Canadians. Yesterday went to Wrigley, Lakeshore Drive, and The Magnificent Mile. Beautiful, full of energy, and has a dynamic vibe that NOLA has never had and never will have.
