It's time to start a recall of this mistake of a mayor. I'm ready, sign me up.

Such is the routine fate of neighborhoods that demographically change to black. Yet White flight is just racists being racist.

This 'area' is a bunch of duplexes and apartments similar to the Gardere area. It's been crap for about as long as I can remember...Sherwood Forest, for the most part, is still a relatively good neighborhood especially South of Goodwood blvd. Many areas East of Flannery are slipping fast.

True. Sherwood south of Florida is fine.

Sherwood north of Florida is either very Asian or very Ghetto, depending on the particular block.

I've got a buddy who renovates houses and is doing a ton of work in Sherwood. The renovations are very, very nice and the ones that go on the market are selling to people who wouldn't have given Sherwood the time of day prior to the flood last year.

I think Sherwood residents need to start getting loud about that bad pocket on Flannery and Old Hammond. I would be in Scott Wilson's ear everyday until that shite got cleaned up.

Same thing as the little area along Old Hammond between Flannery and Millerville and of course Blvd de Province is a big shithole

Let them kill each other off if that's what they want to do... fine with me.... I just don't want to hear a sound if another Alton Stering situation comes up.....

The math doesn't work out. There are 50-80 murders in BR per year compared to hundreds or thousands of illegitimate kids being conceived in the hood

Not one of those streets was named after a state or president.

Exact same thing going on off staring at lake Calais ct.

I made the mistake of living there for a year. It's a pocket of grade A ghetto next to magnolia woods.i didnt get out of my car or leave my apartment without carrying.

Staring is kind of ghetto. I'm really surprised that they built a few new neighborhoods in the area in the past 10 years or so. Maybe it will gentrify
