same here, I use WAZE all the time but it still has it's flaws as far as routes go.

what would be the best route to get to Tiger Stadium from NOLA this afternoon? Specifically the lot across the street...401-402?

Burbank? At least it has two lanes.

Maybe take 30 to River Road? Less people will probably be doing that.

I was thinking of telling her to take highland to burbank to Nicholson. Think that would work if she leaves NOLA at 4?

That's what I was thinking. I'd get off at Highland or Siegen and attempt to get to Nicholson or Burbank. I don't think you'll have a problem

That's just asking for trouble Did you get reserved tickets or the general admission? I think your route should be decent leaving at 4. I'd probably lean more towards the 30 route though at that time. There will likely be something that fricks up traffic making getting to Highland a PITA at that time.

I'm leaving here at noon to head that way, but we're grabbing lunch at Chimes beforehand, so I want to be very early.

I'm heading westbound to Lafayette at 5. Hopefully all of the traffic will be heading eastbound to the beach.

It's not me, it's my wife with 3 little girls. Yes they have reserved tickets and a parking pass. The show doesnt start unitl 7. If anything they would miss a little of the open acts. TS prob wont come on till 9ish.

The very possible snafu would be a frick up on the bridge going Westbound but you should know about that in plenty of time to detour.

I-10 to Hwy 30 (nicholson), Pee break, then take river road at L'auberge all the way in.

I'm going to the grocery to get some supplies to ride out this storm. I'll be at home with a glass of whiskey while refreshing google maps. 5 mile backup from Dalrymple to hwy 415 before noon?

My plans this afternoon requires traveling North and I'm already North of I-10, so I can brave surface streets and 190 to get to Highway 1 if need be.

I-10 has no power over me today! ENJOY YOUR JACKED UP INTERSTATE, SUCKERS!

PS: If I get shot going through NBR, please send help.

Some beer, some bud, some Netflix, and some empty bottles is how you survive the Friday trip.

I was westbound on the I-10 bridge at 10:30. Traffic was slow AF coming into Baton Rouge then.

Yeah. It's best to take 190. 190 at 5 over the speed limit is only 15-20min longer than I-10 at the speed limit. Add the backup on I-10 and it'll be faster taking 190.

This day last year was some of the worst traffic I ever experienced in Baton Rouge. Practically no planning or organization for those coming in for BCSF at a time when traffic is already heavy in Baton Rouge on a Friday afternoon.
