I have a Mossy Oak 30oz that was $12.88.
It works great.

Walmart version works just as good, we got a YETI at an employee summer party and bought the Walmart version... same cup, different logo.

Got an rtic off Amazon for $13.
$10 on RTIC's website with free shipping on orders of $35+
ETA: I talked to them yesterday and they should have everything else back in stock within 2 weeks. 20oz tumblers were out of stock yesterday and are now in stock this morning (though not for the previous sale price of $6)

Just buy the Yeti. I use mine multiple times a day every single day, and I love it

Bought the Ozark 30 oz. on WalMart's website. Had it "shipped to store" near the house. No shipping charges involved. Very easy purchase!

RTIC has a deal right now where you can get a case of 30 tumblers for $200. That is a steal and you can give them away as stocking stuffers.

If everyone thought as you did, no iPhones would've ever sold. Lamborghini would fail as a brand. Sub Zero's sales of refrigerators would be, well...I'm sorry I can't even make that cliche no matter how low the fruit's hanging.
You get the idea.
People will pay for a brand name. They always have. They always will. What's funny to me is that folks like yourself who will laugh about folks being brand wh0res or label conscious probably have tons of labels and brands in your own home that cost you a premium compared to other, just as easily obtained competitive products that do the exact same thing.
Nike. Levis. Apple. Under Armour. On and on and on...
Some folks live their life generically. But for me? I pick and choose. Personally, I have the P&G Yeti, and a 10oz Tumbler, 20oz and 30oz Ramblers.
I bought the 10oz to see how it'd keep my brown water ice (it's amazing and I hardly drink my booze in anything else. Especially outdoors). The 20oz was so my wife wouldn't feel bad about the 30oz I was given as a swag gift from a fishing tournament this summer.
The Rant and the OT helped me win my Ice Chest from Stine's about 4 or 5 years ago. I would never pay $499 for one. Heck I still recoil from the soft pack arctic bag for $79...but the cups are great and are high quality and I'm okay with it if folks want to pay $40 for a cup.
Hell...Every single person that's ever gone out to a bar or a strip club has paid a premium for the same bud light or Canadian Mist (poured out of a Crown Reserve bottle) and Coke. Yet people line up to pay that premium...

Only difference is the lid.

For the really sophisticated crowd, try the Orca Chasertini:

I have the Ozark 30oz Tumbler and Yeti 30oz. The only difference between the two is I pick up way more chicks with the Yeti status symbol
Gasket seal on the lid is attached to the lid for the Yeti...just held in place by tension on the Ozark Trail. I bought my wife a Yeti before any competition was out there. I've since bought 5 Ozark Trail tumblers for the rest of the family. The gasket is the only difference (well...except for the price).
If you can't find the Ozark Trail...Amazon is selling an off brand for $13 online (free shipping with Prime).
