Like I said, I believe you have the means, and obviously have the reasons. Do you think this guy did?

When you open an account they check collections, even if you don't know it. I worked as a banker for over a year.

Even if you don't sign an authorization for it? Sounds legal.

Every bank does it. I'm not saying it's right, but you give them your social so in a way you are agreeing. They also throw some card in front of you before running the social so I'm sure that covers them.

Eta: all sketchy things and fact banking sucks is all part of major reasons I got out.

Also anyone who wouldn't agree to that, would you really want them banking with you? That more than likely means they plan on overdrafting like crazy and plan to never pay back:

A nifty way to fix that is to not allow someone to overdraw on their account more than once while it is negative. Crazy idea I know, but then they wouldn't get to collect all those fees. Banks love people that overdraft.

They do if they pay back. You'd be shocked how many people just don't mind stealing money. Personally I couldn't imagine just overdrafting to my account though. Anyway hijack over proceed with thread.

One last thing though. I agree with you banks freakin sucks and glad got out why I could and got into a lot better position working in the industrial business.

I actually know a chick well who has two friends and they are regulars at some married dudes' camps. One night I go meet her and they are with her. They were bragging about how they all have day jobs(two are fricking teachers) but go on weekends to these two camps and come back with all these gifts and cash. They are all giggling and being coy about what they do at the camp for said gifts/cash.

In asking how the hell this business relationship get started I said the word 'prostitute'. Boy did they get offended. Skanks.

eta: on topic. Drugs are bad and people get robbed over them all the time b/c the likelihood of it getting reported is way lower than if you're an innocent carjacking victim. Murder is one step away and usually a fleeting "oh shite let me get rid of witnesses" kind of thing if you hear these murderers explain themselves.

I know a few rich people myself, and unless they are like fin and working in a cash business, none of them carry anywhere near that kind of cash on them. It's unnecessary in this day and age.

Long thread on the outdoor board. Sad situation. Apparently the victim invited the thug to go fishing. Thug robbed him and shot him in the head with the victim's own gun.

I'm sure that's exactlyyyyy what happened.

Seriously though, that's the stupidest, most naive thing I've ever heard.

That's precisely what the advocate article says.
