it's that massive yellow area west of South America. Yellow represents Sea Surface Temperature Anomaly. Select "Earth" at lower left to change settings.

It's supposed to really kick in here Jan and Feb 2016. Hope we don't have any ice storms.

fwiw, louisiana has been pushing a later winter for the last 3-4 years. shite we had a hard freeze in may a few years ago. temps were in low 30's.
