Both in unrelated situations. St Tammany continues to lead the state in suicides.

Supposedly a 3rd MHS student attempted yesterday but thankfully wasn't successful. Seems to happen a lot this time of year, graduation or whatever. Very very sad. Tough guys on this board will say they're weak and don't deserve any sympathy which is disgusting.
If you're a parent talk to your teenagers. Teens also need to try to reach out to friends or even classmates who they think might be having trouble. Ask them point blank. I pray for all involved.

Where did you hear about the third one? My daughter goes to MHS and that school is broken right now over these tragedies.
To the ones making light of this situation: Grow up, there is nothing worse than a child commiting suicide. The amount of pain these families are going through right now is unimaginable.

A 3rd girl did try. She was also one of the girls in that video that got the 18 year old arrested. (Not a rumor she was definitely in the video)
Edit: there's also a school shooting threat going on rn. A few officers were posted at the front and were patrolling the school

My daughter had a friend commit suicide freshman year. People would make fun of her, saying she just wanted the attention. But, she ended up killing herself. Left my daughter a note how she appreciated how kind my daughter was to her and the only person who treated her like another human. Tragic stuff

Negative. A video was spread of 3 students having sex. One was 18 and the other 2 were 14 year old girls. 18 year is arrested right now. One of the 14 year olds in the video attempted.
