Conducting some independent research for DOTD. Upvote if you think 18 wheelers should be restricted to the right lane. Downvote if you are fine with them hopping in the left lane and taking 40 miles to pass another vehicle. Thanks

I downvoted because voting arrows are not to be used as a poll.

If I'm a trucker going from Cali to SC I'm not waiting behind a truck doing 62 for 700+miles when my rig is limited to 70.

You downvoted because you like going 50 mph in the left lane sitting behind a moving roadblock of semis

Not gonna lie. I have passed those guys on the shoulder and using on ramps 2 or 3 times when I felt I was safe to do so.

I had one that I called the 800 number on the trailer and gave them the trailer number. The dispatcher called the driver and told him to stop holding up traffic

I think they should have their own lane away from real traffic.

The DOTD doesn't give a shite about your survey.

The DOTD wouldn't know a good survey if it hit them in the face

Trick question. Overturned 18 wheelers can't change lanes.

Automated 18 wheelers should be the first driverless automobiles on the road.

I swear between Lafayette and Lake Charles 18 wheelers do not exceed 65 in the right lane and 70 in the left lane. It makes what should be an easy, fast drive slow and infuriating.

It's probably legit if they paid him $2 million and he's been "working on it" for 8 months now.

It doesn't matter. At some point between Baton Rouge and Lafayette, the 18-wheeler will somehow overturn and block both lanes, because driving in a straight line at a constant speed is super duper hard.
