She had kind of a special needs vibe about her. Seemed really stupid in that movie. Phoebe Cates wins on the pool scene alone.

I've always thought that. She was pretty tight in that movie.
Nothing against Phoebe, but that was a well shot scene and I think a lot of gals including JLL might have done it justice.

It was a well-shot scene and I'm sure she benefitted from lense, lighting, & makeup, but here she is at 15 in a candid photo. She was just plain beautiful, Hollywood tricks or not.
