I guess I’m kind of biased but why do these articles exist? What’re they trying to prove? I don’t read a lot of current stuff but I never see people writing articles glamorizing having kids. If those articles exist their probably worse than this shite.

I believe it’s twofold. To influence young people to not have kids and live this bohemian life en masse, and to make it seem more prevalent than it is. Plus it serves to justify the decisions of those who have decided to not have kids (if they could have kids)

All part of a greater plot to further erode the family.

When people are influenced to make a decision like this that goes against their nature, they need constant validation of their decision. Echo chambers serve to reinforce aberrant behaviours. That’s why social media encourages you to block those who disagree with you.

I don’t fault individuals, they are just passengers on a ship being piloted by someone else.

It’s the fact that, for a society, the widespread ideal of “don’t have kids, spoil yourself, they’ll only get in the way” is a death sentence long term.

Or maybe this new trend is good for population control?

People are always complaining about how we are becoming overpopulated. If anything you owe me a thank you for doing my part

It’s not that we are overpopulated. We are populated by the wrong people. The productive people (which doesn’t have a color so miss me with that bullshite) are forced to subsidize the breeding of those who would rather leech off the system.

Instead of our productive citizens being able to have big families, you see the most rampant, irresponsible breeding in the trash of society, leading around litters of fatherless bastards in Walmart with baskets loaded with junk food.

Generations of young people without guidance from the most part, in broken homes, dependent on daddy gov’t to foot the bill. And they start breeding YOUNG. It’s a broken system. And it’s by design.

Of course i’m Assuming you are a productive citizen who would raise a decent family given the circumstances.

Basically, if we don’t have enough adults working to build a better future for their children, we won’t have a future at all. Continued society depends on sacrifices for the next generation.

This is detrimental to society. Also, we’re seeing the promulgation of this idea that having no kids is the best thing ever...if you are young and white.

i actually agree w you, but i struggle to see how that is a motivator to take on what i see as beyond a futile task.

dudes like pecker and i are the ones that should be having children, but just in this thread alone, people have wished death upon me (lol); there is no way reproducing alongside these heathens could be seen as an objectively "smart" idea.

I'd like to think I would.

I had great parents that raised me well and I'd like to think I'd do the same.

As of right now, at age 34, closest I want to be to having kids is meeting a woman who already has a child.

Otherwise, I have no desire to have children of my own.

The OP is a good example of why western civilization in America and Europe is in deep shite and why third world hordes are invading our lands and breeding us out of existence.

It's no coincidence at all that European leaders people like Macron, May, Merkel and so on are childless.

I haven’t read this thread at all but I’m happy I didn’t procreate for many reasons but reason #1 is Job Chapter 3 for those of you that know your Bible. I’m not going to force anybody to come here that might not want to be here. I’m not a earth prison warden.

Not me. I understand the motivations fully and don’t blame you personally. I just hate the situation.
