Even President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho had working pumps to spray his fields with Brawndo! New Orleans has outdone Idiocracy.

Mayor Mitch Landrieu,

You have been an absolute disgrace to the once great city of New Orleans. The incompetence to protect the city from floods with properly running equipment is inexplicable. Have we not learned anything from history?

There was more focus on removing inanimate statues than protecting the citizens and their property. What a shame!

A new mayor and group of leaders can not come quick enough.

During the 7/22 flooding event a pump ran backwards. You can't make this stuff up

That's common with newly installed pumps, that's why you check rotation and change wiring around if needed. Ever since Katrina that pumping station upgrades have been a cluster. They even installed some backwards at one station.
