It snows once every decade or so and your response is "global warming"

The fight isn't against the idea that the earth is warming, it's what is causing it (hint: unlikely humans are causing it but we're definitely not stopping it)

I wasn’t there for that one but about 10 to 12 years ago there was a bad ice storm that I remember. Shut down I-10 and the city for a few days.

Then we had 2017 in BR where we were covered in snow.

The 2017 Snow went all the way Baffin Bay. This is a pic from my ranch 20 miles from Baffin Bay.

We had just moved to Madisonville from Oklahoma. My kids asked when it was going to snow and I told them it doesn’t snow here. Then we got 8 inches in the next week.

Was hoping my final would be canceled, but nope, I went to class as all my friends went drinking and sleding down the levees.

Was a senior in HS. Drove all the way from Watson to Shenandoah for school in the pouring snow while kids who lived 30 seconds away didn’t risk it. I still give my mom shite for that

That was a great day. Wife and I were pre kids, I took pictures of my house with the Christmas lights on all covered in snow before the power went out. We played in the snow like children, built a LSU snowman, and had a snowball fight. Then we spent the rest of the day and night cuddled up by the fire trying to keep warm.

Same. I remember driving to campus early as hell to get some last minute cramming in and getting ambushed by an army of people with throwing snowballs on parade grounds as I drove by

I’ll never forget that, but the two other things that stick out in my mind are visiting Mike in the snow and the amount of gd cars in ditches the entire day

My wife (Fiancé at the time) lost her wedding ring the night before it snowed. Ring was a little loose and flew off her finger closing her car door. It was raining. Her mom said “we will find it in the morning.” Woke up to 4 inches of snow lol. Eventually her brother found it.

Was driving from BR to NOLA - - was flying out of NOLA that morning …. I was the last vehicle to get on I-55 from I-12 before they closed it.

No one else on the bridge and it was covered in ice. Scariest drive of my life
