Crazy fricking world we live in today.

The Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of an 11-year-old girl on murder charges.

Officials say she formerly resided in Iberia Parish and is a suspect in the Nov. 14 murder of Kameran Bedsole.

The girl was booked into the Lafayette Juvenile Detention Center for first-degree murder on Nov. 29 and more arrests are expected as detectives continue their investigation.

I saw this on the news this morning. Terrible. Kids today have no respect for human life.

Since she's not eligible for the death penalty what's the point of charging her with 1ste degree murder?

I’m not familiar with Louisiana law, but I’d imagine, considering her age, there’s no way they’ll try her as an adult so whatever sentence she gets, she’ll be out when she turns 18, just in time to start breeding.

The most she’ll probably get is 30 years. She’ll be out in her 40s or sooner with good behavior.

Supreme Court ruling took this off the table for minors several years ago.

most likely she will have at least 6 kids by the time she is let out. jails are just free rent housing where you cannot leave, they have more of the sex and drugs then there is on the street

Maybe, but unfortunately kids are committing street violence at that age these days.

More arrests are coming. There's a lot more to the story it seems.
