Exactly. Walmart costs the taxpayers about $1m per store per year in subsidized pay to its employees in the form of medicaid and food stamps. The Walton family is worth over $100 billion. Why cant they pay their employees more so we dont have to?

Pretty sure that whole concept has been debunked.

lets look at corporate welfare next

I dislike the welfare system as much as the next AnCap, but it amuses me when so-called 'free market' proponents won't even bat an eyelash at the sickening amount of government contracts that cost us far, far more than direct transfers to 'urban residents'.

Should they not eat anything that may bring pleasure?

I'm on the fence about this one. On the one hand, EBT holders shouldn't be able to buy stupid shite with them, but on the other, if they confined its use to, say, Wal-Mart, it would be the same as the government handing billions of dollars over to Wal Mart for no good reason.

If a quesarita brings someone pleasure, they may want to reevaluate their lives.

Big grocers are the biggest proponents of food stamps as a matter of fact. They're profiting hugely from these programs.

I guess so.

And really, if someone wants to be a dumbass and spend their money on stupid things, let them. Entitlements just breed more stupid people and should be eliminated.

Then again, maybe that's the point. More stupid people equals less questioning of authority and makes the self appointed elites seem as though they're supermen by comparison.
