I'm sure this has been discussed, but why is the signal so bad in Baton Rouge, and are they going to do something to fix it?

The towers are in Jackson and Donaldsonville. And the signal strength is regulated by the FCC to be pretty weak. I forget the exact numbers.

The past 2 weeks it has become really bad. Something happened recently.

Miss ole HW. Heard from a friend that met him at the radio call in gathering that he was a real nice guy. LOt of his pessimism was nothing more than an act and loved LSU dearly. At least that is what I heard.

My hope is that they're going to combine the two into one 104.7. I'm sure there is a request entered with the FCC to boost allowed signal strength.
I travel the entire SouthEast for work and the local stations are no where near as great as ours. You guys have no idea how good we have it. I usually end up steaming the 104 app rather than listening to others.

It has been awful from the get-go. Luckily I just got a new car and it is much better now -- little to no static in areas that used to be inaudible.

104.9 was added to address the problem. But something definitely occurred in the last couple of weeks. Both channels are suffering with the same interference.

I thought this was just in my car. Glad to see others are having the same problem
