104.5FM in Baton Rouge

Today was really bad, couldn't get either 104.5 or 104.9.

They know. They don't care. I heard Gordy say there is nothing they could do about it when he filled in on one of the shows.

I posted this question a while back. Their signal is fricking terrible, probably one of the worst in the country.

Someone said that the tower is in Jackson, LA.
That explains the piss poor signal, but I have no idea why it's there.

Their shite arse signal has to do with the class license they have at Guarenty Braudcasting. 98.1, 107.3 and a few others are the flagship stations so they get the strongest signals. 104.5/9 is low man on the pole and therefore get the leftovers basically. All of this is controlled by the FCC and there is nothing they can do about it.

This is all according to Gordy Rush a while back when he was on air talking about the signal troubles
