I moved to slp and work for the state, I've never heard anyone say port bar e, and 3 hosts have done it including Jordy

Thats definitely how you pronounce the Lake of the same spelling in Terrebonne Parish.

103.7 is the best station in Lafayette for sports expect for Dave Schultz. Alan Michael and Rome and Jordy. Can't beat it

Interesting...I'll have to try that one out. I usually hit a travel plaza about a mile up 49 from there...they have a subway that stays open all night.
