shite hits the fan. Wish I could remember the name.

I also seem to recall #8 being part of a movie.

#3 is also a German film titled, appropriately enough, "The Wave." It's available on Netflix Instant and definitely worth a look.

Not that I would ever ever want anyone to do this experiment, but I wonder what would happen if you put a newborn baby in an isolated room with only a computer. Don't give them any human interaction, or even knowledge that other people exist. Just put food in the room when they are asleep and see what happens. Would they figure out how to work the computer? If so would they be able to use it to learn anything?

Uhhh what? A newborn? No dude the baby would die.

Its called The Experiment, it has Forest Whitaker, and it is TERRIBLE! Like one of the worst movies I have ever seen!

The newborn would starve to death before it was able to even Google "porn".

You think that is a "great" movie? It was comically bad and corny.

No troop 731?

quote:

Between 3,000 and 12,000 men, women, and children[1][2]—from which around 600 every year were provided by the Kempeitai[3]—died during the human experimentation conducted by Unit 731 at the camp based in Pingfang alone, which does not include victims from other medical experimentation sites.[4] Almost 70% of the victims who died in the Pingfang camp were Chinese, including both civilian and military.[5] Close to 30% of the victims were Russian.[6] Some others were South East Asians and Pacific Islanders, at the time colonies of the Empire of Japan, and a small number of Allied prisoners of war from [7] (although many more Allied POWs were victims of Unit 731 at other sites)[citation needed].

It was neither great nor the worst, but it definitely is below average. It would royally suck to sign up for an experiment to make some coin and get stuck with that one though.

I would prefer to be testing the effects of new opiate painkillers or medical marijuana, but with my luck I'd get stuck in the placebo group.

For the type of movie it was, I thought the story was good. It's exactly what I thought of when I read number 10.

I've moved on to trying to remember the movie about the CIA using acid and the Olson guy being thrown out the window but it was ruled a suicide.

I don't think the movie was centered around that as much as the movie was with #10, so that's making it harder to remember.

Oh well.

Yeah, I don't think that was it.

I maybe having an LSD flashback and imagining that I even saw a movie with that in it.
