Does TD.com have some kind of bot that automatically spits out El Cid when the key words "Apartment" and "LSU" are written in the same post?

*I see that the bot is gaining in "intelligence" and providing a photo now.

Don't expect anything too nice in that price range. I was looking for the same not long ago, gave up my search. You can get a 1 br in that new development off at Burbank and Lee for 900/month. Think they come fully furnished and water, internet/cable, security included...that was the best deal I found...but I was looking to move away from campus.

You might as well buy a house in the LP for that price.

if you can pay that much for your kid's rent plus school then you must be some kind of baller.

No problem. You could check The Zone off Brightside...they may have something. Rental market in BR is just expensive, cheaper to buy if you know they'll be there for 5-7 years. You can get a nicely renovated 2br/2.5 bath off Brightside for $90-120k...maybe even less.

ETA: I think southgate has studios for $800 as well.

Put him up in a nice place, make him pay 1/3 the rent with a p/t job working front of the house at a local eatery.

You don't have to fork out as much money, he lives in a nice safe place, he learns life lessons, and also gets laid pretty often working at a restaurant

Profit

Unfortunately, you're not going to find a one bedroom that is even remotely decent for that price.
