Looked like he thought he tried to change direction on Morestead. I don't know if he gave up because he knew it was coming back, or just gave up on it

Yeah. I was assuming he would just push him out of bounds, but then oddly turns the other direction and let's him walk in untouched. I was screaming, WTF?! Then realized it was a forward pass. He may have done the same.

Looked like he figured he was cutting inside and tried to stay a step ahead of him. Instead Cooper just kept going.
Also, Moorestead got hurt last year tackling on a return in preseason right? Could have been a bit shy to tackle due to that as well.
I was dying laughing only cause I knew it was a forward pass and saw the ref throw the flag. Would have been pissed if not

That was a pretty badass play design. Basically the Music City Miracle except Riley Cooper laid down in the endzone.

I think it worked last night just how they wanted it too, minus the Boykin fwd pass. I don't think anybody on our special team was paying attention to him, until the pass was in the air.
I laughed every time I saw Morstead on the replays.
