I thought we have been decent in our coverage, but I went back and looked at the numbers and broke out an average of what we are giving up each week. It is depressing considering Palmer is the only above average passer we have faced.

Average: 20- 31, 282 yards, 1.8 TD, .4 INT

Palmer: 19-32, 307 yards, 3 TD
Winston: 14-21, 207 yards, 1 TD
Newton: 20-31, 315 yards, 2 TD
Weeden: 16-26, 246 yards, 1 TD
Bradford: 32-45, 333 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT

Which is a direct result of having zero pass rush.

You tend not to get a pass rush when you have a NT who can't collapse a pocket and 2 3-4 ends who have nothing but bullrush moves

the man/press coverage is perfect when you have a pass rush - you only have to cover you guy for a few seconds.

In this league, no one can cover indefinitely (if you have no pass rush). Man coverage with no pass rush is an impossible task.

We may be better off switching to a zone.
