With all the new pro offense rules in place, its tough to be aggressive. We need a d playing more fundamentally sound.

Hire John Chavis away from LSU. Look at what he did to a pass happy team. Sure our stats might look like shite but who cares as long as you win the game with solid D plays. Also while you are at it, Hire Motiff too to get better D-line production.

we just dont have the LB or DB play to support it right now. if you are going to blitz the way we do you have to have guys that can play man to man on the outside

Williams definition of man on man coverage is to have defenders 15 yards off the line of scrimage and when the pass is caught have the defenders slap at the ball rather than tackle.

Do we have enough draft choices to change out the entire defense?...seems to need a major overhaul...Everyone knows we are weak in the middle be it stopping the run or stopping the pass...seems like there's some kind of curse on our defensive lineman..every team just about has Brees running for his life but yet we blitz 7 and 8 guys and cant even get a hand on him or flush him out of the pocket..we are super predictable when Ingram is in the game, its a run..after a 48-3 thrashing Tampa took last week who didnt see this train wreck coming..well, there's always next week!...shite happens...

These fools perpetually keep convincing themselves that somehow shanle can turn it around or harper can cover or our dbs strategy of diving at legs is sound.

maybe if we start teaching fundamentals they wouldnt' get so many personal fouls?

I have little hope if we keep trotting out these buffoons on D.

GEt some film of the best D's and take notes, on players, schemes, and fundamentals.

And then draft some of these types of players or sign them away. This wasting away of Brees golden age is unacceptable..

Im baffled at how players like Shaun Rogers and Franklin can light it up for other teams but yet they seem nonexistant in this defensive system..Last yr Ellis had 6.5 sacks and so far he hasnt even gotten close to the QB in 6 games..where's the Beef?..is it the southern style food here thats making our defensive linemen Beast or Obese?..We as fans have known Shanle was washed up when Fujita left, so why havent the coaches seen it too?..or is he just a practice player that shines in practice but doesnt have an ingling as to what's going on on game day..Hate to say it but I think Vilma might be on the downhill slide and "NO" Dunbar isnt the answer to being his replacement..its like Ok, where do you start? anyone have a clue cuz the coaches dont seem to..well, at least we are home next week..to be continued..

Williams blitzes aren't even creative. It's the same fricking thing every time.
