This isn't a city filled with pissed off hippies. If the Saints win a super bowl and everyone is as happy as can be, why would people riot?
It will be a big arse party.

Yeah dumb arse, just like when the NBA all star game came here three years ago.

The NOPD is the best crowd control police force in the country. With mardi gras being so close, there will be state troopers and probably national guard folks all over the place.
How exactly are people going to do this again? The locals are going to want to shove a beer in everyones hand.
Other than the normal crackheads in the normal thug hoods, nothing bad is going to happen. Not sure why that is so hard for people to understand. I am sure we will have another 30 to 40 threads like this in the next two weeks.

New Orleans police probably have enough experience handling big events that they will have downtown on lockdown to avoid to many problems like this.

We'll celebrate and party all night, but there will be little violence, if any. New Orleans isn't a crazy place like L.A. or Chicago.
