Why not let fresh legs pound it in for one yard? I don't care who scores or who doesn't. I just want them to score.

Didn't Thomas pretty much run all the plays up to that point at the 1 yard line? I'm sure Thomas could have gotten the TD just as well, but I really have no problem with Ingram taking it in.

You guys are too hard on Ingram. It's not the guy's fault the Saints drafted back into the first round to take him. I do admit there is a difference between Pierre Thomas and Ingram thus far as Pierre has this inate ability to prolong plays. But frick almighty, that doesn't make Ingram a bad RB. Get over it.

My point is Ingram didn't hold the Sainst hostage to go get him. That was a move that I remember as being pretty damn ballsy. And I liked it. And for those that think those picks could have been made on defensive players, no picks are certain. And the Saints did pick a DE before Ingram as well as upgrade their LB's this year. They did what we all wanted them to do AND got Ingram.

Remember how badly we needed a RB that year when we were down to Julius motherfricking Jones as our primary?

First, the Organization needs to realize a ROI for the trading up and making him a first round pick.
Second, PT seems to break down when getting the full load. MI takes some of that load to keep injuries down.

In summation, Getting Mark Ingram in there kills 2 birds with one stone.

I do agree though that PT is running very well and wish that he could hold up with the full load. As you said, he's the complete package, receiver and between the tackles runner.
