We play in the super dome east. They were even nice enough to have the same naming sponsor.

Which all but ended once we returned to the dome. A place we don't have to leave for the remainder of the season.

I think we'll be fine. I know it's not 1-to-1, but we came into the '09 playoffs slumping and cranked it up against Arizona. Rest will certainly help, and I'm hoping Ginn is back to full speed, and we get more consistent production from Smith, Kirkland, Hill, and Watson.

That game has been mythologized ever since it ended largely because of where the two teams were headed at the time and the outcome was so different from what so many expected.

I guess the idiots that are disagreeing and saying it was a beatdown don't understand that beatdowns are one sided.

Our defense held their offense down as well. So did our defense "beatdown" their offense?

Scoring 13 in a win is never a beat down. Now, if you want to say their secondary beat down our WRs, then maybe...

It was more like a beat-up. The refs let their defenders beat up our receivers.

Score was close. The game really wasn't.

They beat us and I think we'll be better for it.

The game wasn't close because the officiating crew had Cowboys panties on. I have never seen a crew let a defense get away with murder all game long! The only comparison would be how they let the Seahawks play a few years ago

And yes, we are much better for getting that loss!

Doesn't matter about just the offense. You can say their defense "beat down" (aka held all game) our offense, but our defense equally beat down their offense.

It wasn't a beat down. That's what's called a defensive battle.

Had they dropped 30 on us while holding us to 10, THAT'S a beat down. What actually happened was two offenses struggling all game.

It was our worst game of the year and we lost by 3. And had the ball at the end before the Brees pick.

Yeah and if Jaylon Smith get flagged like he is supposed to on the Kamara hit, the Saints have a first and 10 from the Cowboys 29 yard line. There’s the 3 points for the tie at a minimum. And I know that we can say that the game should not come down to a call by refs but the NFL fined him. Therefore, a flag should have been thrown.
