Never saw or heard what happened. Ability or injury?

Was Oliver Vernon lined up against Strief? Because if so, there's your answer. Strief can't handle speed rushers at all. Hell, he can't handle any kind of rusher it feels like these days.

PFF has Strief as our 3rd highest rated offensive player from Sunday. He played very well I'm week 1 too

PFF always has him rated as one of the best and I have no idea why because when you watch him play, he's horrible. Brees getting the ball out or stepping up is what makes him look better than he really is. Constantly needs a TE or FB to chip or help as well.

He left the game with an injury. Guess yours wasn't the answer.

Are you unhappy with our pass protection this season?

We probably have the !most route happy TEs in the NFL under him

I agree.Doesn't constantly having to account for a terrible RT by providing him with help start to limit your offensive formations??Therefore...Contribute to our lackluster offensive numbers.

Is it just a coincidence that our only scoring drive was when Strief went out with an injury?
9 plays 74yd drive.

First, it wasn't our only scoring drive. How many passes did we drop on that drive? Did we run any fake toss, WRs screens on 3rd and short on that drive?

Or are we putting those on Strief too? Our protection was not the issue. We couldn't convert 3rd and shorts, and we dropped a thousand passes.

Are you unhappy with our pass protection this season?

Edit: Nevermind, you thought the offensive line played poorly in the Raiders game

No actually the OL played well against the Raiders....The drive I was referring to was our only scorong drive that resulted in a TD, I guess you couldn't figure that out.I didn't start this thread, just commenting.

No I figured it out, but I'm sorry you used your words incorrectly.

Also, Strief played on that drive I believe. He was injured during it. The entire drive was short, quick passes until the TD, which was still a quick drop....

Interesting, b/c this was said:

Honestly? Sack fumble early on cost us the game...Really?

By you in response to this:

Honestly impressed how well the O Line performed

Brees had plenty of time to throw and the offense ran well. He stayed clean for the most part and wasn't under much pressure. The group impressed me after a very shakeup preseason

No, you just decided to make the brilliant comment with such a large sample size.

The OL did play well against the Raiders as a whole, minus the sack/fumble.

I can't help you if you think the sack fumble falls on the offensive line. He had over 5 seconds to get rid of that football. That was a coverage sack and a poor decision by Drew.

Looks like you may be right. We brought Tim into the game to give the Kelemete support on the right side. I got the 2 white guys mixed up.

So literally did what you were bitching about doing for Strief with tight ends, which is laughably stupid given the production we've had with Strief at Tight End.

Most interesting thing is that Fleener barely played on that drive.

Look man, I'm sorry you're so butthurt about the divorce. Let it go. You have emotional issues when it comes to Strief.

Funny how you are quick to edit your post about how you "looked it up"and confirmed he went out with an injury and stated the exact yard line.Your so full of shite.
