LINK /
Pick11: Tre’Davious White – CB LSU 5’11, 192 lbs., 4.47 40-yard dash
Pick32: Obi Melifonwu – S UConn 6’4?, 224 lbs., 4.40 40-yard dash
Pick42: Carl Lawson – DE Auburn 6’2?, 261 lbs., 4.67 40-yard dash
Pick76: Ryan Anderson – OLB Alabama 6’2?, 253 lbs., 4.78 40-yard dash
Pick103: Brad Kaaya – QB Miami 6’4?, 214 lbs., 4.84 40-yard dash
Pick196: Taquan Mizzell – RB Virginia 5’10”, 197 lbs., 4.55 40-yard dash
Pick229: Aviante Collins – G TCU 6’4?, 295 lbs., 4.81 40-yard dash
No way the Saints select White at 11 or Obi at 32. The other selections would work.

I'd be absolutely furious. Tre White might fall to the 2nd round, at 32 I'll be okay with him but fuuuuuuck 11th overall, I'd rather trade it for Butler if we go that route.

Better trade down before picking White at 11.

Bye Felicia terrible draft

well this guy must be an idiot...doesn't he know we don't draft LSU players?

Why is White at 11 outrageous?

quote:I actually really like these three picks. If we take a QB that late, Kaaya would be my preference way before Davis Webb. Lawson is about as criminally underrated as Tre White in this draft. Anderson in the 3rd is a solid pick and a solid, young LB to add to the vets we already brought in. As mentioned, I'd love Tre White but at 32 not 11. Flip him to 32 and take someone else at 11, and I'm fine with this draft.

Pick32: Obi Melifonwu – S UConn 6’4?, 224 lbs., 4.40 40-yard dash

I sorta agree, position of need.... Tre will be solid in the NFL.

To be honest it's not "that bad"... all positions filled, and no project players

Because he will only ever be a nickel CB

He's not going in 2nd. Too many CBs have gotten injured at combine and Pro Days. His stock is soaring right now. 1st Rd lock

LOL at this guy, might as well just make shite up.
Wonder who he leaves on the board after 11.

The picks could end up working out, but that is a horrible draft imo. Like really bad. No way we wait until the 6th round to take a RB. Some people like Obi Melifonwu, but I think he's bust city.
The only pick that I don't have a problem with is Carl Lawson at 42. Correct value. I really like Tre White & I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up being worth that high of a pick, but #11 seems a little early for him imo. Besides those 2 picks...complete doo doo.
