where was he last year?

a developing rookie from valdosta state that earned high praise in a deep group, made the practice squad and got bumped up to 53 at end of the year. Shall we make a list of Saints who spent their first year on psquad?

Like the rest of us, I'm curious to see how this plays out. With the exception of Colston and Cooks, we've always been relatively slow to bring receivers along. But the fact that we didn't draft one or bring in a name wideout during free agency, we must feel confident in Toon, Jones, and Coleman right? I have hopes, but not much confidence in those three at the moment.

I hope we sign at least one big name WR in free agency or through a trade or something before the season starts..

So he coming to camp around 4 and quarter?

At this point I would guess, Colston, Toon and Cooks/Morgan. I think we will have quite a few sleepers in this training camp.

I am optimistic about jones and Coleman however after watching his highlight vid he looks big and slow. Colston also looks slow the majority of the time.

Although, I will say he is physical and uses his hands well.

I thought Toon stepped up at the end of last year so I will go with him.

I agree. It it Toon's job to lose. Since he usually does well in Training Camp, I wouldn't expect Jones or Coleman to beat him out. I'd like to see Jones grab the 4th WR spot, though.

Jones is the #1 reason why Saints did not draft a WR.Jones is up to 215lb from 208lb an has much more muscle on his body as compared to last year.So he is a WR with a frame of 6-3.3/215 with 4.3 speed. Also not every day Payton speaks so high of a player.Coleman now up to 6-6/233 with 4.5 speed He is the #2nd reason. These two are why no draft picks used at the WR position.
