Didn't mean to be rude. I just think they both won't be good NFL quarterbacks. If I had to choose.. Mariotta.

Mariota. I would he happy camper if the Bucs impeded Jameis from joining the division.

Neither Mariota nor Winston will be great pro QBs. I hope one of them go to the Bucs.

Jameis Winston. He has bust written all over him, and he will set the Bucs back at least another 3 or 4 years.

In my opinion, he is wayyy too immature and does not have the psychological mindset needed to be a successful NFL quarterback.

You do realize that #1 picks are targeted towards franchise players??? It's a pretty significant pick since it's a division rival. I'm sure plenty of ppl here give a damn.

That's pretty much what I'm thinking.
The Bucs are picking him....I'd bet good money on that. He's Lovie's guy and the organization will run with it.

I hope they take Jameis. I think there's a better chance we draft him than Mariota. Better to take away the temptation. And I think he'll stink it up when he's surrounded by garbage players

I wouldn't take either Winston or Mariota. Neither are that impressive. If the bucs were smart they're take Fowler and draft Hundley/Petty in the 2nd and another late round QB. But they will draft Winston who will play well in certain games and everyone will hate him but he eventually will be just another guy at QB.

if the consensus here is that both will be subpar, i would think we would want the bucs to take winston since more teams are looking to jump up and draft mariota. the bucs taking winston could potentially help the saints on draft day

It helps the Saints if both QBs are taken before 13. That only leaves 10 other players drafted before we pick. I can make a list of 11 players I would love to draft at 13.

I think Winston could be a great QB.

Mariota seems like the one with the low ceiling.

I don't think Winston is accurate consistently enough with his throws to succeed.
