Bowman. The defense needs as much help as possible. Macklin would be a luxury.

Bowman has too many injuries. There is a reason SF is going to let him walk

Both would be great additions to the Saints.

I mean it wouldn't hurt to kick the tires but the Saints have 35 linebackers on the roster

I wanted the Saints would select Bowman in the Draft when they Drafted Charles Brown.
I remember we were out to dinner at a pizza restraint in Covington and the draft was on. The Saints pick came up in 2nd round and I expected it to be Bowman LB out of Penn State but instead it was Charles Brown tackle out of USC. I lost intrest after that. I beleive Bowman was still available when the Saints drafted Jimmy Graham in 3rd round.

If the numbers work either would be huge. Maclin + Ginn combined would be just as good as Cooks. Will be interesting to see if Eric Decker or any other WRs get cut. Not necessarily a position of need, but the more weapons at Brees' disposal the longer he can play at a high level

Macklin seems a safer bet but if both are any where near 100% Bowman no doubt.

No I can't remember the name of the place but they had Brick Oven Pizza. They were around the tap room but on opposite side of street.
