It is ages behind every other high definition channel. DirecTV gives me a hundred channels I never even watch but the HD on literally every other channel absolutely demolishes the shite that fox puts out. It really is pathetic.

The Dome Turf looks like green mashed potatoes

I'm watching the Falcons and Eagles right now and I can see individual Blades of grass

Same week the Saints stop being poor and finally paint their endzones

The Eagles actually paint their endzones green by comparison. Top notch field maintenance there.

It's a local FOX issue around the Baton Rouge area, anyone that gets WGMB FOX 44.

Superdome doesn’t paint the endzones because it’s a bitch to remove that paint on the turf for when other sporting events are hosted. Some stadium have separate turfs for the end zone so they can have one painted for the Nfl team and then another endzone for other football games.

WNTZ FOX 48 in Natchez, MS is absolutely unwatchable! During Saints game constant blackouts. This has been going on for years. Nothing is ever done about it.

As already posted, I believe it’s the local affiliate. When I watch RedZone, it aways catches me off guard how much better the game looks than when I switch over to the game feed itself.

You can leave a comment for WGMB here LINK at the bottom of the page.

This is the guy that responded to my comment. He says COX is using the standard feed, but it looks like shite on antenna too. Maybe if enough people complain they will fix it.

Tulane doesn't play there anymore. No excuse not to paint the field.

Which Fox affiliate are you watching.

Saints look great on FOX 26 in H-Town.

I'm surprised this is still happening. The feed to Alexandria was just upgraded about 2 years ago. It now only has one microwave hop. That was the main issue in the past. Dilbert, the feed to Alexandria does come from WGMB's master control though, and they don't care much about WNTZ since it isn't their main station.

The issue with WGMB is possibly that the feed from FOX comes in at 720P is then converted to 1080i before being rebroadcast, however, I haven't been working in broadcast for over a year, so their might be something else that I am missing.

I worked for KADN FOX 15 in Lafayette, but we were all owned by Nexstar at the time. Does that station look bad to y'all as well?

It was stated in an interview with the person in charge of the Dome's surface once before that heavy paint in the end zones makes the turf surface very slippery.

the Fox feed for Louisiana has been a disgrace for years. many live events have been nearly unwatchable on that network in the past.

if you want to truly see just how shitty it is during the game tomorrow then put the game on using the Fox Sports app so that you can see the national feed in legit HD. Then turn back to the shitty local Fox feed on TV in Louisiana. it's terrible

Unless you live in Lafayette and get LUS Fiber. I dunno what y'all are all talking about in other parts of the state. Fox is crystal clear in Lafayette.

What other football games does the Superdome host after New Years?
