What was the first Saints game you ever went to?

I dont remember so I guess I didnt care enough about the saints at the time.

First game i can remember was a preseason game vs the oilers back in the heyday of warren moon.


The saints got drummed like 44-3.

It was great.

Colts in the Dome 1989. I was one of the few residents of Baton Rouge not to feel the ground shaking from the Exxon explosion because it happened while we were at the game (or on the way back, I forget the timing). Saints blew out the Colts 41-6 - I remember that. And I remember the giant black cloud over BR.

Saints vs. Dolphins in Tiger Stadium. That game was terrible.

Never been to a Saints game in the dome. . .if you have Cowboys or Bucs tickets though then you can make it happen.

I saw them play the Cardinals (St. Louis)and they won back in 68' or 69', I still have the program, I don't remember much about the game anymore except the atmosphere was pure New Orleans with Al Hirt, gumbo and noise of the old stadium when everyone would start stomping there feet. It was metal. They had attached to the programs dubloons(misspell I guess), which was pure New Orleans also. I bought a pennant from the game and still have that, the fleur dis les was fat and looked stupid but it was my New Orleans and I loved it. How times have changed.

1989 or 1990. Saints vs Steelers. Steelers won 9-6. Saints won next two game to go 8-8 and got into the playoffs.

1978 we lost to the Rams

MNF vs Pittsburgh Steelers

First game was a MNF game vs Steelers in 1974. I was almost 5 and have a couple clear memories of being at the game.
