in the secondary linger into week 15 and 16. Too late for F/A Pickups or do they just roll with who they have?

As long as they don't linger into the 2nd round of the playoffs then i'm cool.

Like I've said before, I never trust Payton with injuries. We'll know about Porter and Greer when (if) we see them on the field.

Lets just hope for that first round bye to help this be a moot point.

What the hell does that even mean. Because Payton doesn't like to disclose injuries, he is untrustworthy. Oh, let me guess,Payton is responsible for players getting injured, so, he needs to lie.

I think he means sometimes the injury is kept under wrap till game day.

Poor choice of words, to say the least.

I dont remember Greer specifically going down in a game...I just remember them holding him out for the Tampa game and the speculation was he would be back in time for New England...It should have never come to this

Are you on drugs? You got that from me saying I don't trust him when it comes to injuries ?

Payton plays it tight to the vest for a reason. No reason to not have our opponents prepare like most of our guys are going to play. I don't blame him, but g damn, this Greer shite pisses me off. You mean to tell me the training/medical staff couldn't have gotten this thing taken care of almost immediately! If they had Greer MAY have been back this week.

Yeah, me either. I think a few coaches mess with the injured list, though. Tom Brady was on the injury report every day of his career, and then when he had an actual shoulder injury, they took him off of the report that week. It's kind of a joke.

I guess you don't want to give anyone any kind of a look at who they will be lined up against, even if it is a couple of weeks ahead. Who cares. I just wait until game day and see the lineup. Also, I'm a bit of a pessimist, so I assume the worst...

Firing the medial staff wont solve the problem. Firing the strength and conditioning staff is a better idea. There job is get the players in excellent physical condition to prevent injuries. They keep dropping the ball every year.

Maybe we just have an average amount of injuries that seems like a lot because we focus on them and talk about them so much? How different is our injured list from the other teams? I'm sure there are teams way worse off.

There are a ton of injuries on all NFL teams by this point of the season. Even the guys who play this time of the year are playing with some type of injury. The Saints are no different than the other 31 teams.

As for firing the strength and conditioning coach of the Saints, are you serious? How many times have the Saints come back in the 4th quarter to win this season or put teams away in the 4th? Is that indicative of a lack of conditioning?

Concerning the injuries to Greer, Porter and Fujita, the Saints are going to roll with who they have signed as replacements as there do not appear to be anymore capable bodies to bring in. I don't see anymore roster moves coming unless McCauley is such a screw up that he gets himself booted.

McCauley could turn into a hell of a pickup at CB if he gets his head on straight. I don't think a lack of talent has ever been his problem, just issues off the field. I know that a couple years ago many mock drafts had him projected as a first round pick and the Saints were interested in him.
