What confidence do you have in Peat starting next year?

As far as I'm concerned we got 3 O line openings.

After another offseason of conditioning? He'll be fine and will shore up the shitty right tackle position.

We need new guards badly.

I'm pretty sure he'll lock down a spot by the end of training camp. We need to draft 2 guards badly. Jahri Evans will be here next year...which should be his last year.

He can take the RT spot just fine IMO. We need two big time Gs badly.

I agree. I think he'll be fine after another off-season. We clearly need help at Guard and I wouldn't mind grabbing another guy that can play Center or Tackle, depending if Strief is still on the team next year. You need an adequate backup at that position.

This. He got his shite pushed in playing guard against the best defensive player in the NFL (possibly of all time). He was looking good as a RT, and that seems to be his natural position. I know people thought that he should transition seamlessly to OG, but there's a reason that so few people his height play that position.

None, but I wouldn't be shocked if he won the RT job next year.

The guard position is really bad. Some high picks need to be devoted to both offensive and defensive lines.

I'm for picking Tunsil and letting him play RT and letting Peat play guard.

Tunsil
???
Unger
Peat
Armstrong

Profit?

I'm for drafting two actual guards.

This. Peat is not a guard. We don't even know if he's an NFL player.

Peat will be a total disappointment for us. He will play out his contract. We won't resign him. The Jags will. Peat will make the next 5 probowls. Peat finally matured.

It would be nice to sign a decent one in FA, just to free up another draft pick and not have to start two rookies. But we need two of them somehow this offeason in the worst way.
