@Minny on MNF to start the season

NE on a short week while they play on TNF. So they get an extra few days while we have a short week

Week 5 bye

@ATL again on TNF

Christmas Eve for Atlanta at home

It sure looks tough compared to last year:

Oakland
Giants
Falcons
Chargers

We should have gone 3-1 at worst and went 1-3 on an easier schedule.

I dont see the Vikings as this powerhouse that everyone thinks they are. We have a decent chance. Bradford could regress.

We have had the Pats number before. This is a winnable game. I dont think we will get blown out. Probably a high scoring game where nobody will give us a chance and maybe we come out looking good.

The Panthers arent a great team. Cam Newton isnt that good. Now if LF7 is on the team I will be worried. Other than that I think this is a W.

Dolphins in London is a game where I dont know what will happen. we both have a bye on the way. This game could go either way.

2-2 is reasonable. 1-3 or 0-4 and this team will have its hands full climbing out of the canal it dug itself into.

First 4 is a tough stretch and I hate early byes, but it's manageable from the bye on tbh.

That was three straight playoff teams to start the season.

Minnesota has a pretty good D but I think they just came unhinged a little there after awhile when their offense wasn't really helping them last year.

That's still could be a tough draw to start the year. But their Oline sucked last year at least.

Minnesota is a sad story. That was definitely a team on the rise before the Bridgewater injury. Who knows if he'll ever play again.

The Falcons scheduling irritates me the most. So I either have to go to ATL on a Thursday or be in NOLA on Christmas Eve to watch us beat last year's super bowl choke artists?

Yea and we lost to Oakland in the last 5 minutes because the officials called every rule in the book against us to keep the drive alive. That should have been a W.

The Giants block a FG for their only TD of the game. A fluke play that happened more often than it should have.

Falcons stomped us. We had zero chance.

Chargers was a W. We should have gone 3-1.

And your point?

perfect time to play NE

Could be a tough spot

Dome will be sold out and rocking if this game means anything

Primetime on the road isn't a good thing radio. How many primetime games did the Saints get btw?

quote:

perfect time to play NE

If we played on Sunday instead of Monday, I may agree with you. Actually, I wouldn't given our great start to the previous seasons.

The "perfect time to play NE" would be week 6, you know after an extended week and a bye

But you're right, 4 extra days for New England to rest and prepare while the Saints have to turn around, travel back, and get ready for the best team in the NFL off an extended week.

4 extra days of having absolute focus on 1 opponent means nothing /s. Saints will surely change their entire scheme this offseason

Dome will be sold out and rocking if this game means anything

Every game is sold out. People will have conflicts being the biggest holiday of the year and all

Such a coherent argument

I see a 4-0 start. Not worried about N E at all after a tough road win to start the year the dome will be hyped!

i do like how there are more home games than road games once you get past mid November.

Saints and Dolphins both have games on the east coast before the London game. And both are division games for both.

Saints@Panthers
Dolphins@Jets

we catch the Packers just before their bye week.. meh. Could be worse.

the Redskins game shouldn't be ignored. Have not beaten them since the Super Bowl year and they usually have our number for whatever reason.

@ Buffalo could be tricky. New Coach so you don't know what to expect as much. Never really an easy venue to play at but it won't be cold as hell either in November.

I think that 1st time we play against Carolina is huge. Nothing to back that up.. just an early gut feeling.
